Trapster Wireframes

Trapster is an iOS and Android app used while driving. The first state is the dashboard you see prior to driving. Once driving is detected, the app switches to a map view with relevant points of interest (POI), such as speed traps, marked on the map. As you approach these POIs you are alerted, thereby avoiding a dreaded speeding citation.

This new version of Trapster simplified many of the core interactions that took place in the context of driving. The layout was overhauled and the target size of core actions increased to address the context.

The bottom-most Trapster design is a visual treatment I did for the app.

Gas Finder

This is a interaction I worked on for finding the closest gas with the CheckIt app. The visual design was already established, and I worked through several iterations to return gas prices near you.

Pressing the gas button on the lower right, toggles on the gas finder. The colors changes carry forward the apps playful use of colors. Once a gas station is selected, directions are provided by a familiar maneuver list.
