MakerFlix was a project site of mine dedicated to curating video shorts on people who make things. These videos are all so fascinating to me and I loved watching each one. I made an attempt at cataloging as many as I could and ultimately building a CMS system for uploading and approving new content. It's experienced a bit of entropy and is no longer maintained.
